This collection helps us to care for the sick & retired priests who have dedicated their lives to the services of people in our diocese. Please give generously.

FR. WATT:
Recently retired from the Parish. A number of parishioners have suggested making a presentation to him at a date in the future. Donations for a presentation may be left at the Repository, Parochial House or placed in an envelope and put into the collection bags on Sunday.

IRANIAN EARTHQUAKE APPEAL:
A Collection for Trocaire will be taken up by St. Vincent De Paul next weekend 21st/22nd February.

LEGION OF MARY:
The Legion of Mary wishes to thank the person who so generously donated a large sum of money to them. The money was forwarded to the Legion of Mary Hostels to be used for the care of the destitute and homeless.

BINGO IN PATRICIAN YOUTH CENTRE:
Is on every Friday Night at 9pm. The numbers attending the Bingo have been falling in recent years, so that at present it is running at a loss. In order to make sure that the Bingo can continue, we appeal to parishioners to support it. 9am MASS:

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBANUS:
The local Council of the Knights of Columbanus have arranged a pre Lenten talk on "Reconciliation" to be given by V. Rev. Aidan Troy CP, PP, in the Theatre at St. Michael's Parish Centre, Downpatrick on Tuesday 24th February at 8.15pm. Numbers will be limited and admission is by TICKET ONLY . Tickets are available from Toms Wine Barrell, St. Patrick's Avenue, Downpatrick.

ST. PATRICK'S GRAMMAR SCHOOL:
The Governors invite applications for the position of Lunchtime Supervisors. 10 hours per week, from 12.15 to 14.15 daily. £5.58 per hour with summer retainer fee. Application forms and further details are available from the Principal's PA.

NORTHERN IRELAND BLOOD TRANSFUSION TEAM:
Will hold Blood Donation Sessions in Downpatrick Parish Hall, Church Street, Downpatrick on Monday 23rd February from 2.30pm - 4pm & 5.30pm - 8pm. In order to maintain the vital supply of bloods to our hospitals The Blood Transfusion Service needs not only the support of existing donors but also of new donors. Please come along - It could save a Life!

PTAA:
The Annual Pilgrimage to Knock will take place on 19th & 20th June. Unfortunately, due to increased charges by the Hotel, Bus and other agencies, it has been necessary to increase the cost to £90 per person. This covers the cost of four main meals (2 lunch & 2 dinner), breakfast and a stop for morning coffee at the Killyhevlin Hotel plus the cost of the bus and other incidental expenses. FAITH MATTERS:
