RADIO SYSTEM:
Some Parishioners are currently having problems receiving Mass on their radio, this is because the amplifier has broken down. Attempts have been made to repair the system which have been unsuccessful, we apologise for the inconvenience and hope to have the system repaired as soon as possible.

ACCORD:
Pre-Marriage Course dates are 16th October and 27th November. Places are limited. To book contact 02844613435.

VINCENTS CENTRE:

We are currently updating our records for the distribution of Offertory Envelopes. If you have recently moved to the parish and would like envelopes or if you already live in the parish and have moved house please contact us at 02844612443 or email ppstpatricksdown@aol.com with your details.

MARIE CURIE SHOP:
Market Street, Downpatrick are in urgent need of volunteers to help in their shop. If you can spare a few hours per week and would like to help either in the shop or sorting and steaming clothes contact Down District Volunteer Bureau at 02844619122. Marie Curie is dedicated to the care of people affected by cancer and the enhancement of their quality of life. The shops help raise funds for these services to pay for nurses. It is also a chance to learn some new skills, meet people and as a volunteer registered with the Down District Volunteer Bureau access free training, information, support and take part in recognition events (certificates and social events).

PADRE PIO PILGRIMAGE:
18th/19th September. £20 deposit required before August 1st in order to secure your place. Bus full. Deposit should be paid to Kevin O'Hare.

YOUTH FESTIVAL OF PRAYER:
Knock Shrine in conjunction with Youth 2000 celebrate faith and youth in a young person's retreat from the 5th -8th August at Our Lady's Shrine, Knock, Co. Mayo. The theme is "What I Want is your Happiness". For more information contact Ann or Emma at 0949388100.

ST. CLEMENT'S ANNUAL GOLF DAY:
Is being held in Ardglass for the eighth year in a row on Friday, August 6th. There are many great prizes on offer! Bookings: Ardglass 44841022. Entry Fee - (including meal) is £25 before noon and £30 from 12 noon.

RUSSELL GAELIC UNION:
MONDAY 2nd AUGUST: Reserve Football - Downpatrick v Tullylish at Tullylish, 7.45pm.
FRIDAY 6th AUGUST: Senior Championship Football - Bryansford v Castlewellan at PTR, 7.30pm.
U12 HURLING ACADEMY: at Pairc an Tomas Ruiseil this Tuesday 11am - 1pm and Wednesday 2pm - 4pm. Anyone wishing to take part should bring a hurl and a helmet. All welcome.
FRIDAY 13th AUGUST: A night of Irish Culture featuring "Irish Brigade" and local musicians and Irish Dancers in the Clubhouse at 9pm. Admission £5, pay at the door.
