BISHOP'S COMMISSIONS:
The Collection for the Bishop's Commissions will be taken up this weekend. The Commissions include, The Commission for Justice & Peace, The Commission for Ecumenism, The Commission for Liturgy etc. Please give generously.
VESPERS AT CATHEDRAL:
There will be Vespers at the Church of Ireland Cathedral at 3.30pm today, Sunday. Bishop Farquhar will be present. The choir from St. Malachy's College will sing at it. All parishioners will be very welcome.
ST. JOSEPH'S YOUNG PRIESTS SOCIETY:
Meeting in St. Michael's Parish Centre on 19th November at 8pm. New members always welcome.

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT:
Every Saturday in St. Patrick's Church from 12 noon to 1pm.
NOVEMBER DEAD LISTS:
Are now available at the back of the Churches. Once returned, ALL the envelopes are opened and Lists placed in baskets before the altar, Mass is offered each day in November for all those mentioned. All donations are gratefully received.
CATHOLIC TEACHERS ASSOCIATION:
Annual Mass for Deceased Teachers of Down & Connor will be celebrated in The Church of The Immaculate Conception & St. Joseph, Crossgar on Tuesday 18th November at 7.30pm. Retired teachers and relatives of deceased teachers are invited.
LA SALLE UNION:
The Annual Mass for deceased past pupils and teachers will be celebrated on Thursday, 20th November at 7.30pm in St. Patrick's Grammar School, Saul Street, Downpatrick. All welcome to attend.

MARIE CURIE SHOP:
Would welcome donations of ladies and gents clothing for their shop in Market Street, Downpatrick. All donations are welcome.
CAPPELLA CAECILIANA:
In aid of the Benedictine Monks' Building Fund, Rostrevor, with Steven Hamill and Cliona Doris on Friday 21st November at 7.30pm in Clonard Monastery, Belfast. Tickets £10 are available from Clonard Monastery or pay at the door on the night.
YOUTH 2000 RETREAT:

LEGION OF MARY:
The Legion of Mary, with heartfelt gratitude would like to thank all the very generous people who responded to the collection on 1st November to help the homeless and needy. The total amount collected was £1,102. We thank all those who gave their time to help us.
THE SOUND OF MUSIC:
St. Mary's High School presents "The Sound Of Music" in The Great Hall, Downshire Hospital, on Thursday 27th & Friday 28th November at 7.30pm and Sunday 30th November at 3pm. Admission, Adults £5, Children/O.A.P £3. Tickets available from the School Office.
ST. COLMCILLE'S YOUTH CLUB:
The Youth Club is ongoing Monday and Wednesday evenings 7pm - 10pm in Killough road Community Centre. Juniors - 7 - 11 years, 7pm - 8.30pm, and Form 1 upwards 8.30pm - 10pm. Programme includes Multi-Sports, Arts & Crafts, Cookery, Quizzes, Music and Monthly Trips, admission 50p. ELECTIONS TO THE NORTHERN IRELAND ASSEMBLY:
Will take place on 26th November 2003. If anybody has taken ill since Thursday 6th November, it is still possible to obtain a late postal vote. Applications can be obtained from the Electoral Office in Banbridge, Tel: 02840662857, the closing date is November 18th. In order to vote on 26th November, you require one of the prescribed forms of photographic identification such as, an Electoral Identity Card, British or Irish Passport, Full Driving Licence, or a Translink Smart Card Pass. The closing date for applying for an Electoral Identity Card is Monday 17th November.
