CORPUS CHRISTI:
Today we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi, The Body and Blood of Christ. There will be special devotions and a procession of the Blessed Sacrament inside St. Patrick's Church at 3pm.
CEMETERY COLLECTION:
The Collection to help with the cost of maintaining the Cemetery will be taken up in all the Churches after Communion in the Parish next weekend, instead of at the Cemetery.
EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT:
Every Saturday in St. Patrick's Church from 12 noon to 1pm.
CEMETERY SUNDAY:
At Killough Road on Sunday 29th June at 3pm. A temporary one way system will be in operation, please access the Cemetery from the Flying Horse/Killough Road. Families should bring Holy Water to bless graves at the appropriate time.
NOVENA TO THE SACRED HEART:
We are all invited to make this Novena privately in our own homes. We can use the Novena Prayers which will be printed on the back of the parish bulletin this weekend or any prayer of our choice. We will gather in St. Patrick's Church on Friday 27th June at 7.30pm (Feast of The Sacred Heart) when the priest will re-dedicate our families to the Sacred Heart.
DOWNPATRICK THIRD WORLD GROUP:
Annual Barbeque will be held in Downpatrick Cricket Club on Saturday 21st June 2003 at 8.30pm, Music by "Stateline". Tickets £8.
DOWN ADVOCACY MOVEMENT:
Are holding their Annual Summer Scheme from July 1st to 17th July 2003 in St. Michael's Parish Centre, 99 Irish Street. The scheme is open to parents with physical disabilities and mental health issues and their children. For more information, contact Imelda or Fiona at 44616727.
MARIE CURIE CENTRE:
The Marie Curie Centre in Downpatrick urgently require volunteers to assist in the day therapy service that was launched earlier this year. Marie Curie is dedicated to the care of people affected by cancer and the enhancement of their quality of life. Drivers are urgently required to transport patients to and from the centre in Downpatrick. Volunteers are also required to assist in a range of activities with patients including arts, crafts and outings. For more information contact Sinead at the Volunteer Bureau on 44619122.
PRE -MARRIAGE COURSE:

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY:
There is and URGENT need for volunteers in Downpatrick, especially during the week. We need volunteers for any of the following dates:2nd July, 9th July, 16th July, 19th July, 23rd July. If you are free on any of these dates please contact us at 028 90243686
APOSTOLIC WORK:
The members of Apostolic Work would like to thank all those who helped in any way with the recent "Display Day" on June 7th and 8th, the total amount raised was £3973. The money will be sent to Xavier House, Belfast (our headquarters) who will distribute the money to the missions.
FAMILY FUN DAY:
Organised by DCPA - The Pioneer Association in Down & Connor. Takes place in St. Mary's Christian Brothers Grammar School, Glen Road, Belfast on Sunday 29th June, commencing with Mass at 3pm, Celebrant will be Bishop Farquhar. Fun activities for all, Tombola, Book, Cake, Toy and Plant Stalls, Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, Soccer Blitz, Talent Competition, Barbeque and Refreshments. Supervised car parking. Family entertainment. Everyone Welcome.

Patrician Youth Centre presents "GREASE" - The Musical - in The Great Hall, Downshire Hospital on Friday 27th June at 8pm. One performance only. Admission by ticket only - Tickets available from the Patrican Youth Centre.
