The Sisters of the Medical Missionaries of Mary received contributions of £7317.47 during their recent visit to the parish. They wish to thank most sincerely all who gave so generously to their appeal.

ST. PATRICK'S CHORAL SOCIETY:
Are eagerly looking for new members to take part in their production of "Carousel", which will take place from the 1st - 5th April. NORTHERN IRELAND BLOOD TRANSFUSION SERVICE:
Will hold Blood Donation sessions in Down Parish Hall, Church Street, Downpatrick on Monday 17th February from 2.30pm - 4pm and 5.30pm - 8pm. In order to maintain the vital supply of blood to our hospitals, the Blood Transfusion Service needs the support of not only existing donors, but also of new donors. Please give blood - it could save a life!

BARNARDOS:
Barnardo's is seeking to recruit people who can offer the stability of a homely environment to young adults (aged 16 +) who are leaving care. This new service offers an extensive level of support, a Project Worker to help and support both the young adult and placement provider, full training and a fee for the placement provider. We would like to hear from people from all walks of life, couples, single or retired persons, who have a spare room and who are interested in finding out more about this exciting new opportunity. We are particularly interested in hearing from people in the Greater Belfast & County Down areas.
