VIGIL MASSES:
The congregation of St. Brigid's and St. Colmcille's have voted by a large majority to change the times of the Vigil Mass from 7.30pm to 6.30pm. Some people have said that we should leave one Mass at 7.30pm to provide a choice but that would mean telling one congregation that even though they voted for a change it would not take place and obviously we couldn't do that. The new Mass time will come into effect from 4th January 2003.

In the Scout Hall, Thomas Russell Park. Some places are available for the new term commencing in January 2003, for details contact Elizabeth at 44619706 or 44839841.
SAFE DRIVING:
Chris Rea's song "Driving Home for Christmas" sums up the bittersweet aspects to our attitudes behind the steering wheel - delighted to be on the move towards home and family but frustrated about everyone else heading in the same direction!
" Driving home for Christmas with a thousand memories, I take look at the driver next to me. He's just the same.......top to toe in tailbacks, Got red lights on the run, driving home for Christmas.............
ENJOY YOUR CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS - SAFE DRIVING!
