the 2007 team vehicle

1996 Nissan Patrol
4.2 petrol with LPG conversion
with 2 inch lift and big knobbly tyres

Andy gets a bit concerned at Glenns sticker placing

after last years failed attempt to get the competitors plastered the night before,
the lads try instead to get the organisers wellied
(once again it sort of backfired)

but they were up bright an early for the big fry

all the teams gather at the start line at Lough Key Forest Park

Glenn plots the route while Andy reads Loaded

it's not long before the slag brothers spot the cameraman and stop for a wee pose

even in the dark they can see a camera pointing at them

a little offroad section has the tyres smoking
(or was Glenn just having a wee puff)

The Slag Brothers meet up with Team BLRC at the Slieve Russell for the prize giving
(why are all the drinks on just one side of the table?)

Andy & Glenn are crowned 2007 champions
Event organsiers Robert Arcibald & Jonathon Crozier present the trophies (again)

Andy hugs the cameraman (David Tothill) in the hope he'll get more pics taken

Glenn gets in the wrong taxi

Andy thinks its a race

but they didn't get very far

eventually Glenn burst a chous of
"if you're happy and you know it clap your hands"
(Andy pretend he doesn't know him)

we had to knock him out as he was upsetting the residents
(well you don't think he actually fell asleep at the bar do you)

Jonathan & Robert wave goodbye to the trophy for another year

The lads feeling rather smug with themselves
(they haven't got the bar bill yet)

look, they've even got groupees now
