MARIE CURIE
LADIES DRIVING CHALLENGE 2006 at KIRKISTOWN
On 21st October 2006 Liam attended the Ladies Driving
Challenge in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care Fund,
don't worry, we won't be looking for more monies
from you this time as it was the ladies that had
to raise sponsorship to drive various challenging
vehicles around Kirkistown Race Track, these vehicles
include oil tankers, stretch limos, army vehicles,
ambulances, police land rovers & Fire Engines,
this is where we came in as we will be donated a
Series 3 Forward Control Fire Engine for the day
for more info visit http://www.mariecurie.org.uk/events/ladiesdrivingchallenges/
or call the NI Fundraising Office 02890 882060

Liam warms up the engine in preparation for the
first victim

the ladies (& a marshall) join the queue

another happy customer, she's smiling now
but she hasn't found out there's no power steering
yet

tempted to put a dress on an enter next year if
i could get to drive one of these beauties
(i thought the fire engine was bad at 10mpg, these
only did 3mpg !)
a final word of thanks to our team sponsors
